Black angus are a AC/DC tribute band from Bridgend,Wales. They set out to play the petite venue on the welsh capital, Cardiff. On arrival the band were very polite and their hospitality towards me as their photographer was really good. They were very chatty and really interested in my ideas and I listened to any ideas and possible work pieces to produce.
As they stepped onto the stage, the crowd was ecstatic to see them perform and was wild before the first note of the guitar was strummed.
They played classic songs from AC/DC they were that good they almost sounded completely the same as the original band and could fool anyone who didn't know who AC/DC. As they opened their set up the crowd leaped into the air with joy and drinks went flying everywhere.
It was good to see everyone having a good time.
One member of the band Andrew Daniels (lead guitarist) called the venue “one of Cardiff’s most prestigious live music venues with and intimate club atmosphere”. He also told me that the crowd was “sold out to his knowledge, electric, enthusiastic and energetic”.
Overall this show was a solid 8/10 for me as they really blew the roof off the venue. I would really enjoy shooting these again.
Big thank you to Andrew and the band.
